Preparations for the celebration of Telugu Mela have started and the committee members are working hard to make this function a grand success. You might have seen the flyers and the banners displayed and distributed at several venues in Milwaukee area.

High lights of the function:
1. Sri Venkateswara Swami Puja; 9.00am
2. Daytime Mela: 10.00 am.
3. Evening celebrations start at 5.30 pm
a. Keynote speaker: Dr. V. NARAYANA MURTHY
b. Orchestra: MANI SASTRY and group-Houston, TX
4. Admission fee for the evening function, dinner and orchestra:
a. Adult: $ 15 (Members) $ 20 (Non-members)
b. Child: (5-13yrs) $ 5. Children less than 5 are free
5. The donor packages are
a. Family value Pack 1 – $100
• 2 adults and 2 child tickets for Dinner and Orchestra
• 10 raffle tickets and 10 food coupons for the day
b.Family value Pack II – $ 75
• 2 adult tickets (no children) for Dinner and Orchestra
• 8 raffle tickets and 8 food coupons for the day
c.Single Pack – $ 50
• 1 adult ticket for Dinner and Orchestra
• 3 raffle tickets and 5 food coupons for the day
Why we are organizing Telugu Mela ?
a. To have an annual event with fun filled activities for Telugu families combined with rich cultural entertainment by inviting talented professionals inTelugu arts.
b. To establish a precedence and trendsetting event in the Milwaukee community by the Telugus in Greater Milwaukee area.
c. To use the occasion for inauguration of important milestones in the history of Andhra Samajam in Milwaukee
d. To raise funds that will enable the committee to sponsor social and cultural events in the community on a regular basis.
In summary, the Telugu Mela is organized to perpetuate “ Telugu Samskruti, Sahithyam and Sampradayam “
